Welcome to Café Français, a charming café located in the heart of Aspet at Pl. de la République, 31160 Aspet, France. This delightful spot offers much more than just coffee; it’s a vibrant gathering place where the aromas of freshly brewed espresso mingle with the warm atmosphere of friendly conversations.

Café Français is ideal for those looking to soak up the local culture while enjoying a cup of coffee or a refreshing drink. Picture yourself sitting outside, basking in the sun, with the stunning views of the town around you. The café's layout strikes a perfect balance between a cozy indoor space and an inviting outdoor terrace, making it a fantastic destination for warm days or brisk afternoons alike.

What truly sets Café Français apart, however, is the personal touch of its owners. As one satisfied visitor, Chris, shared, “The owner and Jeffrey are very welcoming…” indicating that each visit feels like catching up with old friends. The commitment to customer experience shines through in the various thoughtful touches and genuine interactions. Whether you're stopping by for a quick espresso while waiting for the Tour de France—as Mick Mccosker likely did—or settling in with friends for a few beers, there is a inviting vibe that makes you want to visit again and again.

For those who may feel a tad rusty speaking French, no worries! The café staff are known for their patience and welcoming attitude towards all guests, making it a comfortable place for anyone navigating the linguistic waters. As expressed by Nomis, who enjoyed a burger from nearby while being encouraged to dine in at the café, the sense of community is palpable here.

Hop in on vibrant market days, and like Ros Harper noted, you’ll find it’s the perfect spot to unwind and watch the hustle and bustle. The lively atmosphere on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday brings people together, becoming a hub for local interactions and delightful chats.

With every sip, Café Français offers an experience of genuine hospitality, combined with the idyllic charm of Aspet. Whether you're a local or just passing through, do not miss the chance to make this café a part of your journey.

Have been here numerous times and it has always been excellent. The owner (Colin?) and Jeffrey are very welcoming (sorry about the pool game!) and accepting of our atrocious French!

Only had a couple of beers here while I was doing my family/friends vlogging and what a great little bar in such an idyllic place! I just love it! Got a burger from over the road and the barman said come back and eat it here which I did. A brilliant Saturday market the next day as well.

We had a really lovely time on our visits. We cycled once and had a few beers. Sat in this idyllic little cafe.

Beautiful location in the centre of the town. Drinks a bit pricey but great place to meet others especially on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.

A lovely place to sit and relax outside, especially on market day.
